Thanks for the awesome video. I have the same issue on my 2024 TrailBoss that is preventing the switch led lights from illuminating when pressed. Your video helped me see there is a fix with the 3 wires. But question... wouldn't it be easier to just put a t-tap on the 3 wires that need a 12v source and run that to a fuse instead of putting pins in the truck side of the connector?

Bad video, bad advice… people the top is the black wiper it’s not even really a seal just a wiper for the shaft… if you have problems or take it apart pull the chrome rod out of the black cylinder and there is where that white cup seal goes that’s the actual working seal for the cylinder… there is a weep hole behind the black wiper that will start leaking fluid out indicating cylinder seal issue… the wiper is for keeping dirt out of cylinder

If you have a freind with a smoke machine get them to put it on an check the intake and exaust side to make sure you have all the leaks conquered, if you don't have one yourself that is.

We always use RTV on headers when running an engine on the dyno and never mess with gaskets. It always seals up just fine and when we take off the headers later the silicone is just as good as it was when we put it on and this is after running some pretty big and high horsepower engines. It's amazing how well it works.

And yes, put ultra copper on the vband connectors when your red rtv turns to dust and you have it apart again.

As a non welder and cheap ass that bought a stainless exhaust from a vendor clearance sale that went out of business, it had a leaky flex pipe. Ultra copper is what to use, the max temp is not what you should use.it turns to dust. Use the copper. I gooped the ultra copper around the pinhole and then wrapped in fiberglass wrap. No more exhaust leak.

Any idea how to program this? Ive got a brand new key and am trying to figure out how to avoid paying a crazy amount to program it.

As a boilermaker that red high temp sealant is excellent stuff as we use it around doors and exhaust for both water and fire tube boilers to help seal bolted connections.

Does the flange on the gasket point up toward the top of the piston or down

First thing is to buy a thermometer !!! Second is to tap the AC clutch drive plate with a broom handle when engine running, AC "on" to see if the drive plate engages and spins same rate as its pulley. The actuators on these are crap, had gears strip on one in our 1994, and in our 2005; on our 2014 the gears were not stripped (not making clicking sound) and I cleaned out the insides with a Q-Tip to fix.

The box holder is "universal" size. It works fine with the glove box you have....just pull the tang in the back out to push and hold the box forward

I really like the power tool holder. Much easier to assemble on a table then drop in drawer. Put mine in a husky box so i had to cut an inch off the height. Best choice of any on the market.

What bottom end

When welding aluminum with a spool gun, you need to "push" through your weld, and you need to move faster than what you would compared to welding steel. You also need to give yourself around 3/8" to 1/2" gap between the tip of your spool gun and the metal that you're welding.

Thank you so much for this video, I was able to repair it myself. A little stubby socket wrench and flexible extender made the job much quicker, probably took 45 min total.

How do you cross reference the controls that will work in your car? I have a 2019 Blazer Premier I want to do this with but no idea where to even start to get that nub control.

01-05 is a 5 speed 06 -19 is a six speed 20and newer is a ten speed Allison branded transmission 01-19 is a genuine Allison
